The Electrolux Professional 602161 cutter mixer features three components: a motor, half-moon hopper, and stainless steel bowl. The hopper and the bowl are both compatible with the motor and feature an interchangeable design. A waterproof control panel is built into the front of the machine, and this panel has on, off, and pulse functions. The pulse button should be selected to coarsely chop the contents. Every part that comes into contact with food is removable and dishwasher safe to streamline cleaning. In comparison to similar units, the motor features a quiet design, and a switch on the back of the unit shuts the mixer off.

The bowl on the Electrolux 602161 cutter mixer is constructed of stainless steel and can hold 3⁴/₅ quarts of fruits, vegetables, or raw meats. It has a black plastic handle and a transparent plastic lid, which has a hole in the top for adding ingredients while the mixer is in operation. It operates using a stainless steel microthoothed rotor blade. The interchangeable hopper piece is a continuous-feed model featuring a lever pusher and large output chute. The hopper operates using included blade discs: a 2-millimeter grating disc and a 4-millimeter slicing disc. With one fixed speed of 1,8000 revolutions per minute, the entire unit measures 13⁷/₁₀ inches wide by 13¹/₁₀ inches deep by 20⁷/₁₀ inches high .
