Able to lock shelves in place while the shelving unit is mobile, the Metro 54UP Super Erecta™ SiteSelect™ post fits on top of stem casters for efficient transportation within commercial kitchens. The chrome post doesn't need tools for assembly; instead, users can follow its double groove visual guide feature, which is implemented every 8 inches along the post, for quick construction. Circular grooves are etched along the post in 1-inch increments, and in 2-inch increments, the grooves are numbered for reference. Sleek enough for a tapered split sleeve to wrap around the post, the sleeve can lock into openings in the shelf's corners for ensured security.
