The True TDD-1-S-HC draft beer system has a 3-inch-diameter, insulated stainless steel column that reduces foaming since cold air is directed into it. The cabinet accommodates one half-barrel keg and has a stainless steel floor for strength. Interior visibility is enhanced with LED lighting, and when loading kegs into the unit, the door threshold protector minimizes dents and scratches. Constructed of stainless steel and aluminum, the exterior is strong and corrosion resistant. A 12-inch-long recessed door handle facilitates opening, and this unit is mounted on 4-inch-diameter castors to provide mobility.

Inside the True TDD-1-S-HC draft beer system, a temperature can be set between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which is maintained with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a capillary tube system. Fans circulate cold air through the cabinet, and their electronically commutated motors produce less heat and consume less energy than traditional options. To lock in cold air, dense polyurethane insulation fills the walls and door, while magnetic gaskets keep the door firmly closed. When cleaning, gaskets can be removed without tools, and the condenser is conveniently accessible. Upon each start up, the compressor fan reverses for 20 seconds, blowing dirt, dust, and debris off the condenser coil.
