To serve two beers at once, the True TDD-2CT-S-HC draft beer system can store two half-barrel kegs and has two insulated beer columns. A two-way manifold connects carbon dioxide to the beer lines, reducing foam while keeping beer cold and bubbly. Glasses can be stored in the chilled area under the slide top or placed along the aluminum glass guardrail. When loading, the interior is shielded from damage by a door threshold protector. LED lights shine in the cabinet, and the set temperature ranges from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The exterior top, front, sides, and doors are stainless steel to protect against dents and corrosion.

Fans blow air around the True TDD-2CT-S-HC draft beer system's interior for even cooling, and their motors are electronically commutated. These motors, unlike traditional motors, work while producing little heat and using little energy. To retain cold air, walls and doors contain dense polyurethane insulation. Since magnetic door gaskets create an airtight seal, heat will not enter the cabinet. For servicing and cleaning, the refrigeration unit is self-contained and accessible from behind the front grill. When the compressor fan motor starts up, it reverses for 20 seconds to blow dust, debris, and dirt off the condenser coil. With this design the coil is cleaned automatically, so the unit runs more efficiently and reduces energy consumption compared to systems with dirty coils. Although this self-cleaning feature provides the benefit of a prolonged unit lifespan, it doesn't replace the need for preventative maintenance.
