The Vulcan VCBB36C heavy-duty natural-gas range is a two-in-one unit featuring a 36-inch-wide charbroiler top and convection oven base. To save space in cramped commercial kitchens, it measures 36 inches wide by 41 7/8 inches deep by 40 1/2 inches tall. This unit is also positioned on 6-inch legs that can be raised or lowered to stabilize it on sloped or bumpy flooring. Its front, front top ledge, burner box, sides, base, and stub back are made of stainless steel for lasting durability as well as rust, dent, and scratch resistance. This rugged metal can be seamlessly integrated into existing equipment lineups.
The 36-inch-wide charbroiler is built with six burners that have corresponding pilot lights and controls for individual adjustments. The integrated char radiants and stainless steel supercharger burner dividers encourage uniform heat distribution, minimizing the risk of scorching or undercooking chicken, steak, or vegetables. The six heavy-duty cast iron grates are sloped so fat can drain from proteins; this design also reduces the chance of flare-ups to enhance user safety. To ease cleanup, these grates can be lifted off, and its equipped with an extra-deep crumb tray that collects food debris.
The Vulcan VCBB36C heavy-duty range's convection oven boasts a 27-inch-wide by 27-inch-deep by 13-inch-tall interior with a porcelain base, interior door panel, and sides that are simple to wipe clean. This oven comes with two oven racks that can be set in one of three positions to achieve different results. So users can simply insert and retrieve pans, the door features a counterweight hinge. The thermostat can be adjusted from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit as baking requirements change. Unlike standard ovens, which rely on radiant heat, this type of oven uses a fan to circulate heat for quick, uniform cooking.
