Because the Vulcan VTC36C gas range has a charbroiler top and convection oven base, it can cook chicken, hamburgers, and casseroles in one compact unit. Its charbroiler uses a series of infrared emitter panels to release and regulate heat, while its steel grill ensures a quality sear to products cooked on top of it. To deliver a total of 66,000 BTU across its three burners, the unit uses a 1 1/4-inch gas connection. Its temperature can be reduced or increased with its chrome burner knobs, and for a quick, effortless startup, its emitter panels use an electric powered piezo spark ignition system.
The Vulcan VTC36C range measures 36 inches wide by 36 3/4 inches deep by 40 1/2 high, and boasts a stainless steel charbroiler that delivers a classic aesthetic while reducing the chance of denting and scratching. The 32,000-BTU oven capacity is made of porcelain to lock in heat and expediate the cleaning process, while its heavy-duty door is equipped with counterweight hinges. It rests on a series of adjustable legs that enable level use on irregular flooring, and to help contain messes, its back boasts a four-inch riser that prevents grease from splashing onto surrounding surfaces.
