For precise temperature adjustment, it features solid-state controls, and a red indicator light alerts users that the unit is in operation. In addition to melting cheese on finished sandwiches, this unit can be used to caramelize desserts or toast bread.
To preserve heat, the Vulcan 1024 cheese melter is built with insulation in its top, sides, and back. Its rack adjusts to four positions, and when product is placed on it, the unit heats automatically. Ensuring efficient, even heat distribution, it features quartz infrared tube heating elements.
