The Continental D84GFN chef base has a width of 84 inches to fit griddles and other equipment. The top end's drip guard marine edge helps prevent liquids from dripping to the floor, reducing slipping hazards. It has four drawers and a 20-cubic-foot capacity ideal for two 6-inch-deep pans per drawer. For heavy use and a long lifespan, the unit has a stainless steel exterior, interior, worktop, and back. It's simple to transport because it's equipped with 4-inch casters.

The Continental D84GFN chef base's refrigeration system uses R290 refrigerant for environment safe operation. It features electronic controls, which have an adjustable temperature range from -4 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit's off-cycle defrost system works to reduce frost and ice accumulation, while the hot gas condensate evaporator eliminates excess moisture. Whenever the unit needs servicing, the condenser slides out for simple maintenance.
