The Delfield F2987CP refrigerated chef base accommodates (10) 12-inch by 20-inch by 4-inch hotel pans in its six drawers. These stainless steel drawers have Delrin® track rollers that slide smoothly without grease. Even if the unit is installed on uneven floors, the drawers stay shut because the tracks tightly hug the gaskets€”these gaskets can snap in and out of place and be removed for cleaning.

This Delfield F2987CP low-profile chef base maintains internal temperatures between 36 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, displayed on the dial thermometer which is enclosed to protect against water damage. Other components€”including the condenser, condensate evaporator, and electronic controls€”are in the right-side machine compartment for service access. Mounted on six-inch casters, the unit can be moved as needed for accessible component service.
