The Taylor 5248376 cleaver is constructed of high carbon German steel, which resists corrosion better than stainless steel and retains its sharp edge for longer periods between sharpening. The blade is one piece, stamped, and designed to resist damage from pitting, corrosion, and stains. This knife features a nylon and silicone handle that is rigid and features a nonslip design for a secure grip. With a 6-inch blade, the knife's overall length is 115/8 inches. This cleaver can be safely cleaned in a commercial dishwasher.
