Outfitted with six ¹/₃-size polycarbonate pans and a removable lift-off lid, the Beverage-Air SPE36HC-S 27-inch salad top refrigerated counter supports efficient prep line organization. Its top features a heavy-duty aluminum pan liner that helps direct airflow beneath the pans and prevents spills from reaching the cabinet interior. Beneath the work surface, the base includes two solid hinged doors and four epoxy-coated wire shelvesa€”two per sectiona€”for 10.01 cubic feet of chilled storage.

The Beverage-Air SPE36HC-S salad bar features a rear-mounted refrigeration system that uses R290 refrigerant and a ¹/₆ HP compressor. Full electronic controls manage internal temperatures between 36 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, while adaptive defrost and an epoxy-coated evaporator coil help reduce maintenance. The exterior is constructed of stainless steel on the top, front, sides, doors, and grille, while the back and bottom are galvanized steel. This model rests on 6-inch castersa€”two with brakesa€”and includes field-reversible doors with self-closing, 120 degree stay-open hinges.
