Built to hold 500 pounds per shelf, the MetroMax? 4 Metro X536PG4 four-tier mobile shelving unit includes several unique features to support various kitchens. Its polymer construction prevents corrosion from moisture or chemicals, so it can withstand several environments without damaging the platform and the items it holds. The mobile shelf kit has four open-grid polymer shelves that mount on the unit's four MX63UP posts using wedge connectors. When inventory is shuffled, the shelves can be readjusted, as the unit's poles have 1-inch adjustable increments on which the shelves can attach. These shelves include removable, 6-inch mats, which slide easily on top of the shelves to keep items in place; their grid design boosts airflow and simplifies cleaning. The shelf kit's platform, shelves, and mats are all constructed with Microban? antimicrobial protection, which resists bacterial, mold, and fungal growth. This lengthens the unit's lifetime and keeps stored items safe.

For enhanced mobility, the Metro X536PG4 has four polymer casters—two swivel and two brake. This mobility ensures it can be moved through doorways or entryways as needs evolve. Plus, its mounted shelves and gripping shelf mats secure items while the unit is in motion or placed in storage. The braked polymer casters help the unit remain steady while stored.
