The Delfield 8118-EFP drop-in refrigerator employs LiquiTec® technology, a cold-wall cooling method using eutectic fluid and R404A refrigerant to maintain temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. For accuracy, this number can be monitored and adjusted via electronic temperature controls. This unit is ideal for holding meats and other sensitive foods at optimal temperatures for a short period of time before use.

Because it is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, the Delfield 8118-EFP drop-in refrigerator not only keeps products colda'¬a€it also reduces the cost of energy in the kitchen. It accommodates one food pan, and if this pan is between 4 and 6 inches deep, it will remain flush with the countertop installed beside the unit. For maintenance purposes, this refrigerator includes a drain for removing built-up condensation, and to aid in cleaning, the top and inner liner are made of durable stainless steel.
