The Hatco CWBR-3 remote refrigerated drop-in well is a top-mount unit measuring 45 inches wide by 27 inches deep by 12 inches high. For a cohesive, streamlined appearance on serving lines, it can be dropped into a cutout as small as 43¹³/₁₀₀ inches wide by 25¹⁹/₁₀₀ inches deep or as large as 44 inches wide by 26 inches deep. Made of aluminized steel with a stainless steel bezel, this corrosion-resistant unit is durable enough to endure long-term front- or back-of-house use; it also matches all Hatco wells for an integrated appearance. This cold well accommodates three full-size food pans and includes support bars to secure them in place. To ease cleaning, it includes an 1-inch NPT brass drain.

The Hatco CWBR-3 cold well's cold-wall construction uses R-513A refrigerant to ensure foods remain at optimal temperatures without drying out. Its angled interior wall lets cold air blanket prechilled food to minimize warm spots that could affect product quality. To retain chill in warm ambient settings, the unit's sides and base are insulated. The included condensing unit can be field mounted as far as 50 feet from the cold well, while the control panel includes 9-foot-long probe wires for flexibility in operator control locations. To minimize hands-on maintenance requirements, the control panel features an auto-defrost mechanism that reduces icy buildup.
