Sized to accommodate six full-size food pans, the Hatco CWBX-6 drop-in refrigerated well measures 84 inches wide by 27 inches deep by 17¹/₂₀ inches tall. Its durable, corrosion-resistant aluminized steel housing establishes a sleek, professional appearance on buffet lines and food bars while matching other Hatco food wells for a uniform look. To achieve a streamlined, built-in aesthetic, this unit can be dropped in a cutout as large as 83 inches wide by 26 inches deep. Because it doesn't include a condenser, it can be incorporated into multi-cold-well configurations to enhance installation flexibility. Between uses, residual food can be expelled from its 1-inch NPT brass drain.

For convenience, the Hatco CWBX-6 refrigerated food well's electronic panel ships loose and includes 9-foot-long probe wires that enable the control panel to be placed in a more desirable location. This panel lets staff adjust temperatures as menus change and initiate a defrost cycle that automatically removes icy buildup. To ensure prechilled foods are held at safe temperatures in warm ambient settings, its cold-wall construction uses R-513A refrigerant, while its angled interior wall directs cool air across the pans to eliminate any warm spots. Because its sides and base are insulated, it retains generated temperatures while conserving energy in warm environments.
