Instructions pop up on the screen so that operators can use the unit without constantly looking at the manual. Icon-based menus create a straightforward experience, and during first-time use, employees can either run a preset recipe or create their own recipe through the touchscreen display. The controls offer many brew options, including temperature, volume, and cycle time, as well as more specialized settings, such as pre-infusion, pulse brewing, and water bypass.

When issues arise in the Curtis G4TP1S63A3100 coffee maker, the system runs diagnostics to determine the problem and speed up servicing. If the brewer needs updates or replacement, employees can use a flash drive to save and transfer recipes. Operators can limit access to the control panel with a passcode, preventing unauthorized users from tampering with the settings.
