Equipex SEM-60VC 24" Electric Salamander Broiler, 208v/1ph
The Equipex SEM-60VC salamander broiler works great for browning and finishing dishes, as the vitroceramic heating elements in the top heat up quickly to a maximum temperature of 1,060 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the elements get so hot, this unit can even cook raw meats, while the top is adjustable, so it can be lowered for cooking foods quickly and raised for lightly finishing product.
Large quantities of food can cook on the long rack at one time, and when only some of the rack is filled, employees can switch on partial sections to save energy. As food cooks, grease runs off the food and falls into the drip tray. At the end of the day, employees can remove the drip tray and empty the collected waste. This Equipex SEM-60VC salamander broiler is constructed of stainless steel to resist warping and denting, and for installation, the unit should be mounted on the included 4-inch legs or 1-inch legs that are sold separately. To install it over high-heat-generating equipment or open flames, an insulated shelf is required.
