The single section in the Arctic Air AUC27F undercounter freezer has 5.4 cubic feet of interior space. The cabinet is accessed from one door, which self-closes to reduce energy loss if an employee forgets. To streamline loading and unloading, the door can also be propped open, while storage is provided on an adjustable shelf. Made of wire, air flows evenly throughout the shelf for proper cooling, and this unit is positioned on 3-inch casters to provide mobility.

The Arctic Air AUC27F one-section freezer has a temperature range of -10 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be adjusted using an electronic thermostat. The temperature is displayed on an LED screen, and if the unit isn't functioning properly, the refrigeration system can be accessed from the rear for maintenance purposes. Streamlining installation, the condenser is self-contained and cools with eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
