With a refrigerator and freezer section, the Continental D1RFENSSHD over/under reach-in refrigerator/freezer permits operators to store large amounts of varied inventory in a single footprint, making it a good choice for establishments with limited storage space. The refrigerated and frozen sections provide 11 cubic feet of interior space and have a total of four steel shelves with a rust-resistant epoxy coating. To provide durability and resistance to corrosion, both the interior and exterior are made of stainless steel. The interior is accessed through two half-size steel doors with polished chrome workflow handles.

To provide a clear view of shelf items, the Continental D1RFENSSHD over/under reach-in refrigerator/freezer has LED interior lighting. To program temperatures, operators must use the electronic controller and digital display. The refrigerated section has a temperature holding range of 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit, while the frozen section can maintain a temperature range of -10 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. For a greener footprint, this unit relies on eco-friendly R290 refrigerant to hold cool conditions. To prevent ice and condensation buildup, this unit has an automatic electric defrost and an automatic, electric condensate evaporator.
