With a dual-temperature design, the Continental D2RFENSA refrigerator/freezer offers a section for storing refrigerated items and a section for frozen inventory. Each section has 22 cubic feet of internal space and three epoxy-coated steel shelves. To resist corrosion, the interior is made of aluminum, while the exterior is made of durable, dent-resistant stainless steel. The interior is accessed through two solid steel doors, which are equipped with polished chrome handles, cylinder locks, and cam-action, lift-off hinges. To provide a tight seal, this unit has Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in door gaskets. So staff can quickly retrieve items without having to keep the door open for excessive periods, the interior is outfitted with LED lighting.

To provide an environmentally friendly footprint, the Continental D2RFENSA refrigerator/freezer relies on R290 refrigerant€”an eco-friendly and energy-efficient hydrocarbon. This unit is also equipped with 3 inches of polyurethane foam between its metal paneling to insulate the cabinet. The refrigerator section maintains an operating temperature range between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, while the freezer section can achieve temperatures ranging from -4 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. If the cabinet experiences a sudden change in temperature, a high/low alarm sounds to alert staff. To provide stability on uneven floors, this unit sits atop four adjustable stainless steel legs.
