With an extra-wide, pass-thru design, the Continental D2RFENSAPTHD refrigerator/freezer is ideal for center installation in a kitchen environment so both kitchen and wait staff can access the interior as needed. The exterior of the unit is made of stainless steel, making it dent, corrosion, and rust resistant, while the interior is made of durable aluminum and is equipped with 6 adjustable, epoxy-coated steel shelves. The cabinet is accessed from both sides through eight half-height, solid steel doors. To provide a comfortable grip, each door has a polished chrome door handle and a cylinder lock to protect inventory from theft and tampering.

To provide a clear view of items being held, the Continental D2RFENSAPTHD pass-thru combo refrigerator/freezer interior is equipped with LED lights. In between the metal paneling is 3 inches of polyurethane foam to insulate the cabinet. To maintain set temperatures, this item utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a high/low temperature alarm. For precise temperature programming, this unit has electronic controls and a digital temperature readout. For stability on uneven flooring, this unit sits atop four adjustable stainless steel legs.
