Each of the Continental D2RFESN combo refrigerator/freezer's sections have 18 cubic feet of interior space, and both are fitted with epoxy-coated shelves, heavy-duty pilaster strips, and LED lighting. While the interior and end panels are made of aluminum, the front panels and solid doors are made of stainless steel for durability. The two doors have self-closing hinges that retain internal temperatures, Santoprene™ snap-in gaskets for an airtight seal, and cylinder locks to prevent tampering. Overall, this unit measures 57 inches wide by 29¹/₄ inches deep by 83¹/₄ inches high.

The Continental D2RFESN refrigerator/freezer is made with 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation for temperature retention and additional structural integrity, while the refrigeration system is top mounted for maximum interior space. The digital controller enables quick and accurate temperature adjustments, and the set holding temperature is sustained with R-920 hydrocarbon refrigerant. If the temperature deviates from its setting, an alarm sounds. For reduced ice buildup, the freezer has an electric defrost, and the refrigerator has an off-cycle defrost.
