From the Designer Line series, the Continental D72N-U undercounter refrigerator base is an ideal addition to preparation stations as its interior spans 20.6 cubic feet, is divided into three sections, and fitted with three epoxy-coated steel shelves. A solid, self-closing door separates each section to encourage organization and to prevent drastic cool-air loss. The unit sits on four casters for mobility as needed and is designed to fit beneath a worktable.

Mounted at the rear of the Continental D72N-U refrigerated base is its self-contained refrigeration system, which works to cool the cabinet as dictated by the electronic controller's input settings. This system utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for safe and efficient operation. To prevent condensate development, the evaporator works automatically, while the defrost system functions intermittently.
