Overall, the Continental DF27N-U-D freezer measures 27¹/₂ inches wide by 32³/₁₆ inches deep by 31¹³/₁₆ inches high; this compact design is designed for undercounter installation. The design features two roll-out drawers with a 7.4-cubic-foot capacity. To create an airtight seal, the drawers feature Santoprene™ magnetic door gaskets. The unit's front, top, end panels, and interior are made of stainless steel, while the back is made of aluminum for durability. For insulation, the panels feature 2-inch polyurethane.

The Continental DF27N-U-D freezer's self-contained refrigeration supports simple installation. Via its plasticized evaporator coil, this refrigerator uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The built-in defrost system eliminates frost accumulation over time, and the automatic, hot gas condensate evaporator reduces heavy moisture accumulation. With its simple-to-use control system, users can adjust temperatures from -4 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
