To ensure a long lifespan and withstand heavy use, the Continental DF48N-U undercounter freezer features a stainless steel construction with an aluminum back panel. The front of the unit is fitted with two solid, self-closing doors that are field reversible for versatile placement in small commercial kitchens. With a 13.4-cubic-foot interior, this freezer holds two heavy-duty steel shelves for storage, and the internal conditions are locked in with the doors' magnetic gaskets. The unit's factory-installed plate casters facilitate mobility when transportation is needed.

The Continental DF48N-U undercounter freezer uses eco-friendly R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to efficiently maintain cold temperatures. It's equipped with an external LED display, while the digital control panel enables quick temperature adjustments. The refrigeration system is self-contained for simplified installation, and its back-mounted design eases maintenance access. For consistent operation, the electric defrost system prevents ice buildup, while the hot gas condensate evaporator gets rid of excess water; both the defrost and evaporator operate automatically.
