To provide a durable, spacious worktop for food preparation, the Continental DFA43NSSBSworktop freezer has a 43-inch-long worktop that is constructed of heavy-gauge 300 series stainless steel. Additionally, the front, end panels, and interior are constructed of stainless steel to ensure a long service life. Between the metal paneling is 2 inches of polyurethane foam, which works to insulate the cabinet and maintain user-set temperatures during heavy use. This unit has a freezer base which spans 12 cubic feet and is accessed via one full and one half-height door that are field reversible to optimize installation.

To maintain a clean wall and floor, the Continental DFA43NSSBS worktop freezer is equipped with a 5¹/₂-inch backsplash. To reduce recovery times during busy shifts, the doors have a self-closing design and are fitted with Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in door gaskets that establish an airtight seal. With an expansion valve system and a corrosion-resistant plasticized fin evaporator coil, this freezer uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. A unique forced air system has fans installed every 12 inches across the unit's back to evenly distribute cool air throughout the cabinet.
