With a freezer base and a 56-inch-long worktop, the Continental DFA60NSSBS worktop freezer can be a valuable addition to food preparation stations. The worktop is constructed of heavy-gauge, 300 series stainless steel, providing a durable, corrosion resistant surface for preparing menu items or storing other kitchen equipment. To maintain a clean work area, this unit has 5¹/₂-inch backsplash. The freezer base has a stainless steel interior, front, and end panels to ensure a long service life, and 2 inches of polyurethane insulation is sandwiched between the paneling to retain cool conditions.

The interior of the Continental DFA60NSSBS worktop freezer is accessed through two full and one half-height doors, each of which have a self-closing design and smooth polished chrome handles to provide a tight grip. To establish a tight seal to lock in cold air, the door has Santoprene™ magnetic door gaskets. This unit is a good option for eco-conscious locations, as it utilizes R290 refrigerant via the expansion valve system and plasticized fin evaporator coil to achieve temperatures between -4 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Staff can program desired temperatures using the electronic controller and digital display located on the front right side of the unit.
