The worktop is constructed of heavy-gauge, 300 series stainless steel, and the 5¹/₂-inch backsplash keeps food debris off the ground to ease maintenance between shifts. To simplify the installation process, this unit has a self-contained refrigeration system.

The freezer base of the Continental DFA60NSSBSD worktop freezer offers 19 cubic feet of internal space and is accessed through two full and two narrow pull-out drawers and one half-height field rehingeable door. To provide a firm grip without interrupting staff workflow, both the drawers and the door have smooth polished chrome workflow handles. For an airtight closure, the door and drawers are equipped with Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in gaskets. This unit maintains a temperature holding range between -4 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Employees must use the electronic controller with its digital display to manipulate temperatures. If the cabinet experiences an unwanted temperature change, an alarm will sound.
