With 22 cubic feet of internal space and four epoxy-coated steel shelves, the Continental DFA68NSS freezer base worktop can be a valuable addition to common frozen storage. This unit provides users with a durable worktop for preparing food items or holding additional kitchen equipment, and it permits staff to store inventory in a convenient, easy-to-reach location. The front, interior and end panels are made of stainless steel, and the worktop is constructed of heavy-gauge, 300 series stainless steel to provide durability and resistance to corrosion, rust, and cosmetic damage. The cabinet is accessed via the two full doors and one half-height door; each door is equipped with field-reversible hinges for versatile placement in a kitchen workspace.

The Continental DFA68NSS worktop freezer uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and 2 inches of polyurethane foam insulation to maintain the set holding temperature. Operators must program temperatures via the electronic controller and LED display. If the cabinet experiences an undesired temperature deviation, an alarm will sound. To minimize staff intervention, this unit has a hot gas condensate evaporator and an off-cycle defrost that both automatically to reduce moisture and frost buildup.
