The Continental DFA60NSSD worktop freezer from the Designer Line series measures 68 inches wide by 36⁵/₁₆ inches deep by 41¹/₂ inches high, and has a heavy-gauge, 300 series stainless steel worktop that can be used for preparing food items or to store additional kitchen equipment. With four adjustable stainless steel legs, this unit retains stability even on uneven floors. The front, end, and interior panels are constructed of stainless steel, and the rear and side grills are constructed of galvanized steel to provide durability. The interior spans 22 cubic feet and is divided up by four pull-out drawers and one half-height, self-closing hinged door above the condensing unit.

Both the drawers and door fixed to the front of the Continental DFA60NSSD worktop freezer are equipped with Santoprene™ magnetic gaskets to establish a tight seal to keep cold air from escaping. The cabinet has 2 inches of polyurethane insulation between its metal paneling, which works to reduce temperature recovery times during heavy use. The refrigeration system is self-contained to simplify installation and relies on R290 refrigerant to maintain cool conditions as determined by the electronic controller's input settings. To minimize staff intervention, this unit has a hot gas condensate evaporator and an electric defrost; both work automatically to reduce moisture and ice buildup.
