A good choice for food preparation stations, the Continental DFA68NSSBS base worktop freezer offers staff a durable, versatile workspace for preparing or storing inventory, and it has a freezer base to store commonly used items in a convenient, easy-to-reach location. To ensure a long-lasting service life, the worktop is constructed of corrosion-, dent-, and rust-resistant, heavy-gauge 300 series stainless steel. The backsplash measures 5¹/₂ inches high to protect the wall and floor below from food debris. The front, end, and interior panels are made of stainless steel for durability and to ease cleaning. The front is fitted with two full and one half-height, solid doors, which must be used to access the cabinet interior.

With an interior spanning 22 cubic feet, the Continental DFA68NSSBS worktop freezer can comfortably house inventory on its four epoxy-coated steel shelves. To program the desired holding temperature, operators must use the digital controls and LED display. To maintain set conditions, this unit's doors have a self-closing design and are equipped with Santoprene™ magnetic gaskets to establish an airtight seal. Additionally, the cabinet has 2 inches of polyurethane foam sandwiched between its metal paneling to insulate the interior. To provide stability on uneven floors, this unit is fitted with four adjustable, 6-inch stainless steel legs.
