To provide an environmentally friendly operation, the Continental DFA60NSSBSD worktop freezer operates using R290 refrigerant, an eco-friendly hydrocarbon. This unit is a good choice for food preparation stations, as it provides a 60-inch-wide worktop made of heavy-gauge, 300 series stainless steel and a freezer base to store inventory in a convenient space that staff can easily access. The worktop has a 5¹/₂-inch backsplash to keep food debris off the ground and ease maintenance after busy shifts. To simplify the installation process, this unit has a self-contained refrigeration system.

The freezer base of the Continental DFA60NSSBSD worktop freezer spans 22 cubic feet and is accessed via the two full and two narrow pull-out drawers and one half-height field rehingeable door located above the condensing unit. For an airtight seal to lock in cold air, the door and drawers are equipped with Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in gaskets. Using the electronic controller, operators can program the desired operating temperature. To monitor the interior conditions, this unit has an LED temperature display. If the cabinet experiences an unwanted change in temperature, an alarm sounds to alert staff.
