With three refrigerated sections, a heavy-gauge stainless steel top, and heavy-duty, epoxy-coated steel shelves, the Continental FA60N-U 60-inch undercounter freezer is an easily accessible, durable option for high-volume kitchens. For durability and ease of cleaning, this unit features stainless steel front and end panels and an aluminum interior. Its galvanized steel rear panel and grill are durable and rust resistant. To keep cold air inside, this unit is insulated with two inches of non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation. Its two full-height and one half-height doors are field rehingeable. They feature spring-loaded, self-closing hinges, Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in door gaskets, and polished chrome handles.

For efficient and consistent cooling, the Continental FA60N-U undercounter freezer unit utilizes a forced-air design, with fans evenly spaced across the back of the unit. The refrigeration system uses environmentally friendly R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. It has an energy-saving, nonelectric condensate evaporator and a corrosion-resistant plasticized fin evaporator coil. The expansion valve system provides efficient temperature regulation, and an automatic electric defrost system prevents frost buildup and freezer-burned foods. For simplified servicing, the condensing unit has a slide-out feature. For convenience, this unit can be moved as needed on the included eight 1³/₈-inch-diameter plate casters. The casters are mounted on heavy-duty support plates and can be installed in the field.
