Hoshizaki CR98A 98" Steelheart Series Chef Base w/ (4) Drawers - 115v

Positioned on four-inch casters, users can roll the Hoshizaki CR98A chef base around the kitchen, and it has brakes to hold it in place when movement isn't needed. Made of stainless steel, this unit is durable and can accommodate 1,500 pounds of equipment. Its four drawers each hold three full-size food pans and are sealed tight with magnetic gaskets so product stays cold. Finger cut-outs in the drawers enable operators to grab pans. Extruded handles aid in opening the drawers without getting in the way in a crowded space. To prevent food from burning when it is prepared on the top, the unit has a ceramic heat shield.

The Hoshizaki CR98A chef base's refrigerated drawers keep product cold while waiting to cook and serve it. Using the solid-state controls, operators can adjust the temperature from 32 to 52 degrees Fahrenheit. If this number fluctuates too much, an alarm will sound to inform those nearby that something is wrong. The refrigeration system is self-contained and can be accessed from the side with a removable panel if maintenance is needed. A hot gas evaporator removes condensation, and its coil is epoxy coated to resist corrosion.
