This unit doesn't come with a bin or dispenser, so one must be purchased separately. To slow the growth of germs and bacteria, this unit is protected with H-GUARD Plus® antimicrobial, and to ensure ice is fresh and free of impurities, it performs a 2-second flush cycle every hour.

For durability, the Hoshizaki F-1501MAJ ice maker has a stainless steel exterior. The auger and bearing are made of stainless steel to resist rust and corrosion, and the bearing is greaseless to eliminate maintenance needs. This unit has an air-cooled, self-contained refrigeration system that's simple to install and utilizes R-404A refrigerant. In ideal conditions, this ice maker produces 1,543 pounds of flake ice per day, though it makes closer to 1,154 pounds per day when temperatures are higher.
