The Hoshizaki F-801MAJ-C nugget ice machine head produces as much as 690 pounds of ice every 24 hours. Storage bins are sold separately from this head, with options ranging from 230-pound capacities and 1,605-pound capacities. Nugget ice is ideal for carbonated beverages since they take on the flavor of the drink and is popular in healthcare applications since the small ice pieces will not easily choke patients. You can easily mount two units next to each other on a bin for double the ice production. The ice maker is air-cooled, making it suitable for most locations. A design called CleanCycle™ uses a 2-second flush cycle every hour to remove sediment for cleaner ice. The stainless steel construction of the Hoshizaki F-801MAJ-C nugget ice machine head makes it durable for commercial use and easy to clean.
