The Hoshizaki KM-1301SRJZ ice maker head is designed to produce 1,400 pounds of ice when installed in locations with an ambient temperature of 70 degrees and incoming water at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It makes crescent-shaped, half-cube ice, which is ideal for soft drink stations and bagging. Note this unit requires a "Z" series collection bin and remote compressor€”both sold separately€”to function.

The exterior of the Hoshizaki KM-1301SRJZ remote-cooled ice machine head is constructed of stainless steel, while key components within the interior are integrated with the antimicrobial agent H-Guard Plus. The unit operates using R404a refrigerant, and the EverCheck™ alert system notifies operators if the unit reaches an undesired temperatures.
