In one day of ideal conditions, the Hoshizaki KM-660MAJ ice maker head can generate 665 pounds of ice. However, if the ambient air temperature is higher than 70 degrees Fahrenheit€”or the incoming water is higher than 50 degrees€”it will produce less. The ice machine's CycleSaver™ design and double-sided evaporator enable it to create many crescent cubes in a single cycle, reducing yearly cycles and saving energy and water for operators. This machine runs reliably because it detects environment changes automatically, while its EverCheck™ alert system notifies users and service technicians of issues requiring maintenance.

This Hoshizaki KM-660MAJ ice machine head has an air-cooled condenser that uses R404A refrigerant to freeze cubes. Its fans require 6 inches of clearance on the rear, sides, and top for proper airflow; for longevity, its air filters can be cleaned and reused. Panels are removable for interior component access and parts snap out of place for cleaning.
