Under ideal conditions, the Hoshizaki KM901MRJZ ice machine head can produce up to 900 pounds of ice every 24 hours. It produces half-cube, crescent-shaped ice that pairs well with soft drinks. For corrosion and dent resistance, this unit has a stainless steel exterior and evaporator. To deter the growth of bacteria and limit the need for maintenance, the internal components are coated in H-Guard Plus antimicrobial. When maintenance is needed, the EverCheck™ alert system will sound to alert operators.

Part of the KM series, the Hoshizaki KM901MRJZ ice maker head relies on R404A refrigerant to maintain cool temperatures for consistent ice production. To permit proper air circulation, this unit requires a 12-inch clearance on both sides, the rear, and above the unit. Note this unit requires a "Z" series collection bin and remote compressor (both sold separately) to function.
