The single-section Hoshizaki WF27B-01 commercial worktop freezer is a compact stainless steel unit that doubles as a workstation. The freezer's base is a stainless steel cabinet with a solid door that helps contain cold air inside the unit. The inside features a single epoxy-coated shelf that can be moved up and down in ¹/₂-inch increments, enabling the user to customize storage to their needs. The door has a recessed black aluminum handle and a cylinder lock to prevent tampering.

The full unit measures 27 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 40 inches high and offers 7.21 cubic feet of storage. The smooth flat worktop is ideal for mixing ingredients or prepping vegetables, and it features a backsplash that keeps food from falling behind the unit. The worktop freezer sits on four casters for hassle-free mobility and simple placement in existing kitchen configurations. It's insulated with polyurethane foam to hold a set temperature between -10 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit in ambient temperatures as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Hoshizaki WF27B-01 worktop freezer uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to help maintain the set temperature in an energy-efficient, eco-friendly manner. This refrigerant circulates in capillary tubes, while its evaporator is coated in epoxy for corrosion protection. The evaporator unit is defrosted on every off cycle to ensure ice doesn't build up. The refrigeration system is self-contained to save space, and because it's front breathing, it eliminates the need for side and rear clearance.
