The Hoshizaki WF48B-D4 worktop freezer is constructed of stainless steel and features two sections of cold storage with two drawers per section. The refrigeration system on the unit works to keep the interior at a set temperature ranging between -10 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The refrigeration system is self-contained and rear mounted, and because of its front-breathing design, it doesn't need side or rear clearance. The evaporator unit is non-electric, and its defrost cycle ensures it doesn't accumulate ice buildup.

In order to trap in cold air, the cabinet is insulated with polyurethane foam. Each drawer is designed to hold food pans in a variety of configurations, with the top two drawers being deeper than the bottom two. The front of the drawers are stainless steel and each features a black, recessed handle made of aluminum. Intended for use as a workspace, the top of the freezer is smooth with a backsplash.

This Hoshizaki WF48B-D4 commercial worktop freezer measures 48 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 40 inches high to establish a comfortable working height for operators. The unit sits on four heavy-duty casters, enabling it to be moved around a kitchen configuration with limited hassle. Two of the casters lock for needed stability when operating countertop equipment on top of the workspace.
