The compact base of the Hoshizaki WR48B-D2 worktop refrigerator features two drawers and one heavy-duty door with extruded aluminum flush-mounted handles. The top and bottom doors can hold one half-sized pan and one third-sized pan, while the top drawer fits one fourth-sized pan and one sixth-sized pan. Other possible pan orientations of the top drawer include placing one full-size pan longways and front to back, or three sixth-sized pans. The unit's interior fits one epoxy-coated shelf that's adjustable in ¹/₂-inch increments and foamed in with high-density polyurethane to maintain cool temperatures. Both the interior and exterior are made of high-strength stainless steel.

This Hoshizaki WR48B-D2 worktop refrigerator measures 48 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 40 inches high and is installed with a self-contained refrigeration system. The built-in capillary tube utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and works effectively in ambient temperatures as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit's enamel-coated evaporator maintains efficient operation, while a built-in "off-cycle" defrost system reduces freezing to the evaporator's coils. The condensate control minimizes the unit's energy expenditure by reducing moisture collection, and the temperature of this unit can be set between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit.
