The Kold-Draft GBX564AC X-Series ice machine head has a stainless steel exterior with a durable plastic top. This unit can be stacked on top of a bin or with another X-Series head to conserve floor space. An LCD display on the front enables the user to monitor the temperature. Clearance is needed on the top, back, and sides for utility connections and ventilation. The Kold-Draft GBX564AC ice machine head has a self-contained condenser that is cooled with fans that blow cold air across the condenser coils. An upside-down horizontal evaporator and water plate assembly produces clear full-size ice cubes by removing particulates and air from water as it freezes. This unit can produce 483 pounds of ice in a day, and its refrigerant is controlled by a thermostatic expansion valve that opens and closes as needed to save energy.
