This unit is self-contained with a rear-installed condensing unit in the back of the cabinet that slides out for uncomplicated maintenance. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is environmentally friendly with zero ozone depletion. Because its insulated with polyurethane, this unit maintains internal chill, and for tracking and monitoring temperature fluctuations, operators can use its electronic temperature control and digital display.

Part of the Spec Series® the True TUC-27F-D-2-HC~SPEC3 freezer features one section and two 20-gauge stainless steel drawers to increase cold storage in compact settings. It has a 16-gauge stainless steel top, stainless steel sides and back, and steel handles to withstand high-intensity use. Furthermore, to reduce corrosion and the look of wear, its interior includes a stainless steel liner, and its coved corners eliminate hard-to-clean areas.
