The cabinet's interior is mainly constructed of aluminum, while its floor is stainless steel in case of spills and has coved corners that prevent debris buildup. Structure is provided by the foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation that also keeps cold air in the cabinet. Its stainless steel doors are comfortable to open with their 12-inch recessed handles, and magnetic door gaskets prevent cold air from leaking out.

Using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit maintains a constant temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Guided airflow keeps all products evenly cooled, and the fan motors for both the evaporator and condenser are energy efficient and reliable. Servicing the True TUC-60F-HC undercounter freezer is convenient with its slide-out condensing unit. Its automatic defrost system ensures the equipment runs properly and does not require excess maintenance.
