The True TWT-48F-HC worktop freezer is versatile because it stores frozen product and can be used to hold food prep equipment on its countertop. Its stainless steel construction resists scratches, stains, and dents, while the interior aluminum liner resists corrosion. Coved corners ensure messes are efficient to clean up, and its polyurethane insulation adds sturdiness and retains cold air. Because of the 12-inch recessed handles, its two doors are comfortable to open, and they stay open past 90 degrees for loading product.

Maintained with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the temperature can be set from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and it has a self-contained capillary tube system where the refrigerant is regulated. Consistent airflow is provided by the electronically commutated condenser and evaporator fan motors, and its refrigeration system is accessible from the back to facilitate maintenance. To manage settled debris on the condensing coil's surface, the fan motor blows in an opposite direction for 20 seconds each time the compressor is turned on. Though this mechanism can lengthen the unit's lifespan and decrease overall energy usage, it should not replace preventive maintenance. The True TWT-48F-HC worktop freezer has an automatic defrost system that melts ice from the interior walls and evaporator coils.
