While the interior is made of aluminum, its exterior and worktop is constructed of stainless steel for corrosion and rust resistance. Because it uses R-600a hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit is an eco-friendly refrigeration option.

The Turbo Air MWR-24S-N6 shallow-depth refrigerator is built with a single, ergonomic door that is opened with an easy-grip handle. Once opened, the interior LEDs provide full visibility of its contents. To minimize temperature fluctuations, the door self-closes, and the unit is insulated with high-density polyurethane. By using the external digital temperature controller, staff can set interior temperature from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit to create an appropriate holding environment. Overall, this unit measures 24 inches wide by 23¹/₄ inches deep by 34¹/₈ inches high.
