The Turbo Air PRCBE-60R-N chef base has a single section with 9.77 cubic feet of interior space. It uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, an eco-friendly choice, to cool the interior from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. To simplify installation, the refrigeration system is self-contained, and it is located on the top for quick access while addressing maintenance needs. To hold in cool air, the drawers have magnetic gaskets, while polyurethane insulation prevents unwanted temperature changes.

Made of stainless steel, the two drawers on the Turbo Air PRCBE-60R-N chef base are strong enough to hold 180 pounds each, and the top is durable enough to hold pieces of equipment. Because the unit is front breathing, it can be installed against a wall and out of the way in a crowded kitchen. This unit has a hot gas condensate system that removes moisture, and the condenser is self-cleaning to reduce service needs.
