It has one level encased with clear tempered glass panels that grant a direct view to the stainless steel deck so customers can select their purchases quickly. LED lighting brightens the interior, creating an attractive presentation. Its open top and perforated interior back wall improve air circulation, eliminating warm spots and unseemly condensation.

To ensure efficiency over time, the Turbo Air TOM-72L-UF-S-1S-N open-air display case includes a self-cleaning condenser, and its brush rotates across the front fine mesh filter daily to remove dust accumulation. This self-contained refrigeration system operates once it's plugged into an outlet, and it uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to produce and maintain cool temperatures. To accommodate changing inventory, users can raise or lower temperatures on the digital electronic thermostat, while its solar-powered digital thermometer displays an accurate readout. Owing to its open top, this cooler can be stored in ambient environments that don't exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 55 percent humidity, thus retaining its programmed temperature. It's lined with high-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation to sustain a safe display environment; the included night cover can be placed atop the unit to save energy when the store is closed.
