The Southbend S60AC-2RR S-Series restaurant range saves space and its top offers plenty of room to cook product over the burners, on the griddle plate, or in the broiler rack. The burners are located on the left side and have sturdy, cast iron grates. These grates are dense and hold heat well, so product above them is cooked quickly. To grill foods, operators can use the 24-inch-wide griddle plate, which is flat with splashes around the sides to contain grease. Underneath the griddle is a charbroiler rack where grease can drip, vaporize, and waft up to flavor the food.
This Southbend S60AC-2RR commercial gas range provides storage and baking space in its base. The convection oven has a snap-action thermostat, used to set the temperature between 175 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Fans move heat throughout the interior and around product, baking it evenly. Product can sit on oven racks at five possible heights or on the enameled floor. All components in the oven cavity are enameled to create a slick interior for prompt cleaning.
